Catching up

I realize that I haven't blogged in long time! We have been really busy lately. Rachel left us :( She is in Jacksonville right now going through orientation for law school! Her last night here was so sad. I know she had a tough time saying by to Bear. We will see her either Thanksgiving or Christmas but that's a long time to be without my best friend! Charles and I have already talked about a trip to Florida so hopefully that will be in the making soon....Also, my brother is leaving on Monday to attend MSU. I'm so excited for him. So the Vulpitta family will be smaller than usually in Flower Mound but that will make holidays all the more fun when everyone comes in town!

Weve also been repainting our house. For those of you on blogger that follow me - you probably know Joy. She came over, helped me coordinate colors and Charles and I got to painting. The house looks great! Pictures soon...

I can't blog without talking about Mr. Bear. I have to say, tonight was so fun. Usually he is absolutely attached to his mama. Tonight, he was all about daddy! He literally was sitting on his lap facing Charles about an inch away. We also stared out the window as Charles mowed the lawn and Bear was just in awe. He has a toy lawn mower but the real thing was just so cool :) He just thinks the world of his daddy. We played games with him all night -he was hiding around the corner and we would chase him and play peekaboo. When it was time to go to bed he sat on my lap and we read Mommy's Best Kisses. He is such a momma's boy and loves that book. My heart melts when I'm around him. I thank God every day for the amazing blessings in my life!life ! =).
