Potty Time!

So we have been working on potty training with little Bear. He usually likes to sit on the potty, read books and play with toys. We've demonstrated with his stuffed animal monkey and even bought a potty training book. We've tried not to be too pushy about it because I know he will do it on his own time! (But it would be great if he does it BEFORE Olivia gets here!)

Everytime he goes #1 and #2 and tells us but usually doesn't want to go to the potty right then. Well, tonight was a different story! We were reading our bedtime book, "The Potty Book for boys" and Barrett got right up, grabbed Thomas the Train and ran over to his potty. He sat down and went pee! Charles and I were so excited, I think we scared him! He was so surprised and excited.

Our next step is buying big boy underwear tomorrow and also buying Thomas the Train stickers that he can stick on his potty everytime he goes. Well, this was the first time and hopefully it will continue! I'm really proud of him!

Snow!

The past few days have been so fun. Charles has been home and we have had the fire going every day! There is nothing like a fire, hot soup and spending time with your family. We've gone out in the snow quite a few times and Barrett still doesn't know what to think of it! He's really concerned about pushing his momo (mower) in it, but it's been a little tough to get through all of this snow!

I haven't blogged in awhile but he is getting so incredibly big. He is now a little boy. We have so much fun with him. Barrett loves to sing and picks up anything that you say or jingles that he hears on cartoons! He is our little sponge :)
