Barrett is doing so many cute and adorable things. I can't believe how big he is getting. He understands pretty much everything we say to him! Sometimes I just look at him in awe because I am so blessed to have this loving and beautiful little boy. He just makes my heart melt. Every single day he makes me laugh and does something adorable. He loves to act silly and make other people laugh. Hopefully I will have more pictures soon!
-Everytime you say "It's cold outside" Barrett ALWAYS says "BURRRRR!!"
-He gives really sweet kisses
-He talks in complete sentences even though part of them are in his own language
-He is starting to refine his use of words. Instead of saying the first syllable like Zzzz he is actually saying Zo-ey!!
-He mimicks everything we say or do - especially my 'thinking' words like "umm" "hmmm" and "well"
-Barrett likes to use a spoon or fork 99% of the time. He is over eating Mac and Cheese with his fingers!
-Oatmeal is his favorite breakfast food!
-When he tastes something REALLY good, he looks at you and goes "MMmmmmmmmm!"
-He is putting words together like, "Momma, help" or "Go outside"
-He crinkles his nose and laughs at himself all of the time
-He loves to have books read to him
-When playing with Thomas the Train he tries to fit as many trains possible tucked in one hand
-His blanket is now called his "ba-boo"
-If everyone else is laughing, Barrett tries to laugh really loud too
-He calls anything camo "Dada"
-He loves to put his hands end the air, pretend like he's snapping and dance
-Anytime he gets hurt and has a "booboo" he wants mommy to kiss it

Going to see the Trains Part #2
Trip to Benjamin!
This year was our 3rd annual trip to Benjamin with Summer and Andrew. We loaded up the car Friday after Andrew got off work and started our road trip. It is always so much fun. It felt like the good ole college days (minus the drinking part for me!)
The guys hunt pretty much the entire weekend and us girls watch movies, cook, eat and relax! We always have so much fun at night too when the boys get back. Last year we brought Barrett but this year at the last minute, Charles and I decided to leave him with Nana and Papa! I know he had fun and Charles and I enjoyed our weekend together!
Group picture - nice facial expression Charles!

*Christmas with the Vulpitta's*
Barrett was so fun at Christmas this year. Last year was his first Christmas and he was way more interested in the wrapping paper. This year, he definately got the hang of ripping the paper to get to his gifts!! After Charles, Bear and I opening all of our presents, my family came over to continue the celebrating. Every year my mom does baskets, which is my favorite part! Barrett was eyeing his basket throughout our brunch. Boy did he have fun ripping through all of the wrapping paper. Afterward, we went to Great Grandma and Grandpas. Bear was so cute trying to hang out with the older cousins. He would chase after Cameron, Marcus and Anthony who are the youngest of the bunch. While they were wrestling, Barrett would try to jump in. I can't wait for him to have a sibling!! After the festivities, we headed home to get a good nights sleep to do it all over again with the Johnsons!
~Christmas with the Johnson's~
This year we took a trip to Kansas with the Johnson family. We went over to Mimi and Grandad's on Christmas Eve and then spent the day after Christmas celebrating. He loved his car and basketball hoop from Mimi and Grandad! Aunt Alycia also got him the cutest shirt from my favorite store, Janie and Jack! Then on Sunday, we all loaded up for the drive to Kansas! Bear did good on the six hour drive there and back considering he's only 20 months old and was sick! Charles' cousins had their little babies (all three of them 4 months old) so it was fun to meet them! It was good to see the extended Johnson family!
On our way to Mimi and Grandad's!
Lots of snow in Sanger!
