Easter Bunny and Day with Nana and Papa!

This past weekend we took the little man to see the Easter Bunny! He was so excited and didn't want to get up! It was hillarous watching him. He also thought the elevator was so fun. We probably rode it like 5 times while daddy stayed at the bottom waving at us!

Barrett is learning to walk with the aid of his car. He, Charles and I had fun behind our house. We have a green belt so it is so fun to bring Barrett out there!

Barrett is growing so fast. I mean, at lightening speed. He shows me every day that God loves us so much by giving us the biggest blessing in the world. Feeling a little sentimental right now but I just can't express how much love we have for this little guy. Milestones this past month or so- giving fives, mama, dada, eating on his own and kisses. He also loves to scoot things across the floor whether it be a cell phone or a cheerio. I know it sounds funny but he thinks he is going faster when he scoots something.

What an eventful weekend! Most importantly, Barrett said his first word, dada! He was so proud of himself. It's not a true 'dada' it's more like dadadada but atleast he is repeating us. We are working on mama now :) He also had his 9 month appt. and he is able to eat cheese and yogurt now! I'm so excited to start sprusing up his mash potatoes :) Our pediatrician said he looks great and growing like a weed! Thursday was such a beautiful day so we played with him outside after his dr. appt.

Saturday, Barrett had his first haircut. Barrett was not the happiest baby to be getting a cut, but he looks even more like a little boy now! That same day, he also met a girlfriend at the WinKids gym. He saw Elmo there too, but Elmo freaked him out.
